Jemica Ostrofski is a Brisbane-based silversmith and founder of Meekz Contemporary Jewellery, making minimalist, sculptural pieces from recycled and repurposed materials, inspired by the natural and urban environment.
Jemica Ostrofski is a Brisbane-based silversmith and the founder of Meekz Contemporary Jewellery. A First Class Honours graduate in Fine Art (Gold and Silversmithing) from the Queensland College of Art, she creates minimalist, sculptural pieces inspired by both the natural and urban environment.
Working primarily with recycled and repurposed materials, Jemica combines traditional silversmithing techniques with an environmentally conscious approach to transform everyday materials into wearable art.
Alongside her practice, she is a passionate and experienced workshop facilitator, delivering hands-on jewellery-making sessions across South East Queensland since 2014.
